Dr. Vipin Kumar is a Professor of Mathematics at B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani, Rajasthan (India), where he has been serving since July 15, 2008. He is Principal In-charge at B K Birla Institute of Higher Education, Pilani. Professor In-Charge, BKBIET International Relations Division (BIRD), Professor In-Charge, Alumni Relation. He earned his doctoral degree from CCS University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. With over 29 years of experience in teaching and research, he has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals. Dr. Kumar has delivered invited talks at various national and international conferences and serves on the editorial boards and as a reviewer for several prestigious journals. His research interests include operations research, inventory management, and supply chain management. Under his supervision, five researchers have been awarded Ph.D. degrees, and two more are currently pursuing their doctorates. He is the author and co-author of eight books on mathematics and holds four patents. In 2012, he taught at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) d’Angoulême, University of Poitiers, France. Dr. Vipin Kumar also serves as the General Secretary of the Rajasthan Ganita Parishad.
