The Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIM) Club of B. K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani, organized an insightful seminar on “Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents” on 7 October 2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. Dhruv Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Information Systems, BITS Pilani. He provided students and faculty members with valuable insights into Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Agentic AI.
Dr. Dhruv discussed the fundamentals and capabilities of LLMs, the concept of AI Agents, their real-world applications, and the evolving role of intelligent AI systems. The session also highlighted the importance of AI skills and the growing career and research opportunities in this rapidly developing field.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, who actively interacted with the speaker and explored emerging opportunities in AI and related technologies.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Monika Sharma and Ramakant Soni, Faculty Coordinators, AIM Club, under the guidance and support of Director Dr. B. K. Rout and Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma.
