A seminar on GATE 2027 exam was organized by the AIM (AI & ML) Club, B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani, on 18 August 2026 for 3rd and 4th year students of all engineering branches.
An overview of the GATE 2027 examination was presented by Mr. Ramakant Soni, Assistant Professor, CSE Dept., covering the examination pattern, eligibility, syllabus, preparation strategy, resources, and opportunities through GATE, including higher studies, research, and PSU opportunities.
The session was further enriched by guest faculty speakers Dr. Nishant Kumar (Assistant Professor, EE Dept.), Dr. Manoj Bhatt (Assistant Professor, ECE Dept.) and Dr. Rajeev Kumar (Assistant Professor, ECE Dept.), who provided guidance and interacted with students regarding GATE preparation and related academic and career opportunities.
The event was organized under the guidance of the respected Director Dr. B. K Rout and Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, whose continued support for academic and career-oriented initiatives encouraged students to explore opportunities beyond the regular curriculum.
The Seminar was coordinated by Mr. Ramakant Soni and Dr. Monika Sharma as Faculty Coordinators, with Khushal Panwar (3rd Year AI) and Sunidhi Runthala (3rd Year CSE(DS)) as Student Coordinators. The seminar concluded with an interactive faculty–student discussion and clarification of students’ queries.
