Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan has appointed Rajasthan Technical University, Kota to conduct the centralized admission process namely CAM (Centralized Admission for M.Tech).
Admission will be based on valid and eligible GATE Score preferably. However, candidate without GATE score but possessing B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent can also apply. For more details, visit CAM website- www.rtu.ac.in

It is important to mention here that the scholarship offered in M.Tech for GATE qualified candidates shall be as per AICTE norms for 24 months. Candidates who appeared in qualifying degree examinations and possessing valid GATE score card need to submit it in time and present the marks sheet of qualifying degree examination at the time of reporting positively, failing, which their candidature shall be cancelled. A candidate must ensure their eligibility for admission in various M.Tech programmes in the affiliated institutions and University Departments of RTU Kota and BTU Bikaner before filling up the application form of CAM. If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason, then the admission of such candidate will be cancelled even at the later stage.
Candidates seeking admission for M.Tech programme must ensure following minimum qualification.
A candidate must hold B.E./B.Tech. degree in appropriate discipline mentioned in Table below from RTU/BTU or any other recognized University/Institution or any other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto by competent authority.
Candidate must have minimum 50% (5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) marks in the qualifying degree examination (45% or 5.25 CGPA on 10 points scale of relaxation is admissible for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, SBC and EWS candidates). If a recognized university has an approved conversion formula of CGPA into percentage then it will be applicable on producing the certificate of conversion from the concerned University. Otherwise AICTE approved conversion formula will be used i.e. , Equivalent CGPA = Percentage/10 + 0.75.
Candidates having M.Sc./MCA seeking admission to certain M.Tech. programmes should possess valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch. The equivalency of any degree for admission to any programme will be decided by University/ies.
The eligibility criteria given in the following table are minimum and mere possessing the same does not qualify the eligibility for admissions. University/ies may prescribe any other requirements over and above these conditions.
