Ragging is a criminal offence and is strictly prohibited within the campus. Our institution is fully committed to maintaining a safe, disciplined, and student-friendly environment where every student is treated with dignity and respect.
In accordance with the AICTE Regulations, 2009, the college has taken comprehensive steps to prevent, prohibit, and eliminate ragging in all its forms.
Anti-Ragging Bodies at the Institution
To ensure effective monitoring and prompt action, the following bodies have been constituted:
- Anti-Ragging Committee
- Anti-Ragging Squad
- Anti-Ragging Cell
The institution has adopted the following preventive measures to ensure a ragging-free environment:

- Awareness through posters, banners, prospectus, website, and orientation programs
- 24×7 CCTV surveillance across the campus
- Regular surprise inspections of hostels and common areas
- Counselling services for students
- Mentor–Mentee system for academic and emotional support
- Special attention and guidance for first-year students
- The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.
Disciplinary Action
Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action as per institutional rules and statutory provisions. The punishment may include:
- Suspension or expulsion from the institution
- Cancellation of admission
- Legal action under applicable laws
