The Kalash Skill Development Club of BKBIET organized a seminar titled “Career Guidance” on 14 March 2026. The session aimed to provide students with guidance on career opportunities after B. Tech and help them understand the practical steps to start their professional journey.
Objective of the Event-The main objective was to create awareness among students about careers in industry and other professional sectors. The session focused on helping them kick-start their careers, choose suitable domains based on their interests, and prepare for future opportunities.
Key Points-The resource person, Mr. Ashish Kumar Jha, delivered an informative and motivating session. He explained various career sectors for B. Tech students and guided them on selecting and starting work in their domain of interest. He also emphasized building strong foundational skills and maintaining consistency in learning and professional growth.
A major part of the session covered career preparation essentials. The speaker highlighted the importance of an effective resume and how a well-structured resume creates a strong first impression during internships and placements. He also discussed the significance of LinkedIn as a professional platform for networking, showcasing skills, building profiles, and exploring career opportunities.
The session proved highly beneficial, providing practical guidance on industry careers, career planning, professional presentation, and self-development. Students gained valuable insights into choosing the right career path and the importance of domain knowledge, resume building, and professional networking.
Coordinators & Participation-The event saw active participation from 30 students. It was efficiently coordinated by student coordinators Kaniskha, Ankit Kumar, and Anil Vaishnav. The event was conducted under the guidance of faculty coordinators Mr. Ramakant Soni and Dr. Monika Sharma.The program was anchored by Khushi Agarwal and Dipanshu Jangir, with the poster designed by Rohit Sahariya.
