A grand farewell event titled “Swasti 2026” was organized on 24 April 2026 (Friday) at the B. K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET), Pilani, in honor of the final-year students. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) B. K. Rout, Director; Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Sharma, Principal; Prof. (Dr.) Vipin Kumar, Principal, B.K.B.I.H.E., and Mr. Narendra Kumar Sharma, Principal, B.T.T.I. ITI Section, along with all Heads of Departments, Deputy Heads, faculty members, media representatives, and students. Distinguished guests and judges, Mrs. Meenakshi Shrivastava and Mr. Rajveer Singh, also marked their presence.
The program commenced with Ganesh Vandana, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. This was followed by vibrant cultural performances, including dance, music, singing, and entertaining activities presented by the students, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, in his address, stated that final-year students represent the identity of the institution and should uphold values and discipline as they move forward in life. He encouraged them to embrace confidence, dedication, and a spirit of continuous learning. Director Prof. (Dr.) B. K. Rout, in his inspiring address, motivated the students to focus on innovation, skill development, and leadership. He further urged them to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building through their knowledge and talent, thereby bringing pride to the institution.
During the event, Yashasvi Jangid (AI branch) was crowned Miss Farewell 2026, and Gaurav Jangid (ECE branch) was honored as Mr. Farewell 2026. The event was successfully coordinated by Ruchi Sharma (Computer Science branch), whose efficient leadership ensured a well-organized and impressive program. The ceremony concluded on a heartfelt note, with everyone extending their best wishes to the students for a bright and successful future.
