On the occasion of National Science Day, 28th February 2026, a Technical Poster Making Competition was organized by the Science Club BKBIET and IETE Students’ Forum BKBIET in association with the Department of Applied Science BKBIET. The event aimed to promote scientific awareness, innovation, and technical knowledge among students. A total of 16 teams participated in the competition, with four students in each team. The theme of the posters was based on current scientific and technical topics. Participants presented innovative ideas and contemporary technological concepts through creative and well-structured posters.
The first three winning teams were awarded certificates and prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance.

RUNNER UP TEAM: IIIYr: Rahul Bhati(IT),Khushi-IT, Nitesh-IT and Devyani(CS)
SECOND RUNNER UP: IIIYr: Sumit Rathore-IT, Chhayank Saini-VLSI and Tarun Sharma-ECE
All other participants were given participation certificates for their active involvement. The competition was judged by Dr. Nishant Kumar, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering; Dr. Jyotshana Pawar, Professor, BKBIHE; Mr. Ramakant Soni, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Engineering; and Mr. Vikas Kumar, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering. The evaluation was conducted on the basis of technical content, originality, presentation skills, and relevance to the theme.
The Guest of Honor for the program was Mr. K.K. Pareek Ji, who appreciated the efforts of the students and highlighted the importance of scientific thinking and innovation in today’s world.
The Institute Director, Prof. B.K. Rout, praised the initiative and encouraged students to continue participating in such activities in the future to enhance their knowledge and improve themselves continuously.
The Institute Principal, Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, also appreciated the program and lauded the enthusiasm of the students. He emphasized the need to organize more student-motivational and modern technology-oriented programs in the future and to maintain continuity in such initiatives.
The program was convened by Dr. Y.K. Gupta, Head of the Department of Applied Science (ASH). The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Krishna Meel (FIC, ISF), Ms. Monika Shekhawat, and Dr. Rajeev Kumar (FIC, Science Club).
The student coordinators who played a key role in the successful execution of the event were Vikas, Punit, Vansh, Diksha, Rahul Saini, Prince, Shakshi, Arjun, Nitin, and Yogesh.
The event proved to be an important academic platform that fostered creativity, technical understanding, and scientific temperament among students, making the celebration of National Science Day meaningful and impactful.
