Dr. Smita Pareek is presently Professor and HEAD, Department of Electrical Engineering. She received B.Tech degree from Engineering College Kota, Kota (now known as RTU Kota), ME from NITTTR Chandigarh, Panjab University and PhD degree from NIT Kurukshetra, Kurukshetra. She has more than 22 years’ of experience in academic and research. She honoured with best paper award by The Institution of Engineers, Kolkata for her article in Abhiyanta Bandhu. Her area of specialization is Solar Photovoltaic Systems and Control Systems. She is author/co-author of more than 30 research papers and her key contributions have been published in conferences and high impact factor journals. She has organized a number of Faculty Development Programs, Seminars, National and International Conferences and also attended various national and international Seminars/Conferences/Symposiums/ Workshops and presented research papers. She has three books for engineering undergraduate students and four international book chapters to her credit. She has been invited to deliver talks on various research topics in several Institutes and universities of India and Abroad. She has been to IUT, Angloume, France as visiting Professor for one month and also to KMITL, Thailand. She has supervised two phd candidate. She served as NAAC coordinator for the institute. In administrative capacity, she also contributed a lot like Hostel Warden, Admission head, Research Centre head, and many more.
