• Brief Bio

Dr. Rajeev Kumar, born in Sheohar, Bihar, India, in 1984, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Basant Kumar Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET), Pilani. Previously, he was associated with Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in 2008, followed by M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) (CFTI with NIRF ranking 76), Punjab, in 2013 and 2022, respectively. His research interests include RF microwave antennas and sensor design for wireless body area networks, microwave sensing and dielectric characterization using microstrip devices, and IoT-based wireless communication for implantable devices. He has published several research papers in leading SCI-indexed journals, including the IEEE Sensors Journal, and has presented his work at various conferences and workshops. With nine years of academic experience, Dr. Kumar has been actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, and academic mentorship. He is also a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
