B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET), Pilani, organized a technical visit to CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani, on September 26, 2026. The visit was organized by the IETE Student Forum (ISF) in association with the Department of Applied Science and Humanities, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and Department of Electrical Engineering, and was sponsored by the IETE Pilani Centre.
A group of 59 students visited CSIR-CEERI to gain practical exposure to research, emerging technologies, scientific innovation, and engineering applications. Students attended technical sessions, explored research projects and prototypes, and interacted with scientists and researchers to understand their work and technological developments.
The interaction provided students with valuable insights into how classroom concepts are applied in real-world research and engineering. The visit also encouraged students to explore research, innovation, multidisciplinary engineering, and technology-oriented career opportunities.
