International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the institutions operating under the B.K. Birla Group of Institutions—B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKB IET), B.K. Birla Institute of Higher Education (BKB IHE), and Birla Technical Training Institute (BTTI) on 9 March 2026. On this occasion, students presented various cultural performances, including poems and inspiring speeches, highlighting the role and contributions of women in society.
Several engaging competitions were also organized during the event. These included fun activities such as Pass the Parcel, Musical Chair, Cup Pyramid Making, Balloon Balancing, and Guess the Song. Winners of the competitions were honored with prizes.
Director Dr. B. K. Raut emphasized the importance of women and stated that women play a vital role in the development of society and the nation.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma (BKB IET), Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar Gaur (BTTI), and Principal Dr. Vipin Kumar (BKB IHE) also extended their greetings on Women’s Day and described the contribution of women as inspiring in every sphere of life.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Manusmriti Sharma, Associate Professor, and Dr. Anupama Sharma, Associate Professor from the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, BKBIET. A large number of students and staff members enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
