The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET), also known as the BKBIET Innovation Cell (BIC), is a dynamic, student-driven initiative aimed at fostering innovation and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among students. The cell encourages students to explore innovative ideas, develop business plans, and connect with experienced mentors to bring their visions to life.

Objective
The core objective of BKBIET E-cell is to establish Innovation & Startup Policy and build a collaborative, institute-wide ecosystem that supports innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial ventures. It seeks to involve not only students but also faculty and staff in creating impactful solutions through entrepreneurship.
Establishment and Activities
BKBIET Innovation Cell (BIC) was established on 7th December 2016 during a workshop involving entrepreneurs and teaching faculty at the BPTRC Hall, BKBIET Campus. Since then, the cell has remained active in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through a variety of initiatives.
The cell has organized over 70 events till now including:
* Expert talks and speaker sessions
* Hands-on workshops
* Awareness programs
* Competitions at college, inter-college, state, and national levels
* College-level and national-level hackathons
Furthermore, BIC actively supports students in developing and launching their startups, providing them with guidance, mentorship, and exposure to entrepreneurial practices.
