B K Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani successfully organized an Alumni Meet at Jaipur, aimed at strengthening alumni–institution relations, fostering professional networking, and creating meaningful academic and career engagement opportunities for current students.

Objectives of the Alumni Meet

The Alumni Meet focused on the following key objectives:

Reconnecting with the Institution

The event witnessed active participation from alumni belonging to senior batches, making the meet particularly special. Alumni expressed strong emotional and professional connections with their alma mater seen through their willingness to engage in institutional growth and student development initiatives.

Networking and Bonding

The meet provided a vibrant platform for alumni to reconnect with their batchmates as well as interact with junior and senior batches. The overall environment was positive, marked by enthusiasm, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging among participants.

Career and Placement Support

Several alumni entrepreneurs from the first and second batches assured their support by offering internships and pre-placement opportunities to students. Alumni currently working in reputed organizations also committed to connecting with their respective HR departments to explore job and internship opportunities for students.

Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship

    Alumni shared their willingness to contribute through:

Alumni Feedback and Suggestions

Event Highlights

The Alumni Meet commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Reetesh Gautam, who briefed the alumni on the institute’s growth, achievements, and progress over the years. Alumni actively participated by raising queries and sharing their perspectives.

This was followed by an address by Director Prof B K Rout, who highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the Institute and the ongoing efforts to refine academic and administrative processes.

An interactive session followed, beginning with alumni from the first batch. Discussions focused on Admissions, Academics, and Training & Placement initiatives, providing valuable insights and actionable suggestions for institutional improvement.
