Six-Day FDP on MS Excel



The Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) of BKBIET Pilani successfully concluded a six-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Microsoft Excel from 14 to 19 March 2026. The program, conducted over six days with two-hour sessions each day, was a significant initiative aimed at enhancing digital proficiency and promoting a data-driven work culture within the institution.

 Faculty members and administrative staff from BKBIET Pilani, BTTI (Diploma), BTTI (ITI), and BKBIHE Pilani actively participated, fostering a multidisciplinary learning environment.

During the valedictory session, TLC In-charge Dr. Manusmriti Sharma presented an overview of the program, highlighting hands-on training in advanced Excel tools such as data management, analysis, and reporting, which will improve efficiency and digital competence.

Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma emphasized the importance of such FDPs for institutional growth, appreciated the efforts of the TLC team and resource persons, and suggested organizing similar programs for students in the future.

Director Prof. B. K. Rout described the initiative as a reflection of the institution’s progressive vision and termed it a strong beginning as “FDP 1.0,” with plans for more advanced programs like “MS Excel FDP 2.0.”

Resource persons Mr. Sanjeev Sultania, Mr. Anil Datika, Mr. Pradeep Singh Shekhawat, and Mrs. Suman Garg were appreciated for their valuable contributions and insightful sessions.

The program concluded with certificate distribution. Participants expressed enthusiasm and found the training highly practical and beneficial for improving workplace efficiency.

Overall, the FDP significantly strengthened participants’ digital skills and contributed to institutional capacity building.
