Republic Day Celebration 2026
The Institute celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 26th January 2026 at the campus premises. The event was organized by the Cultural Committee in coordination with NCC. The chief guest guest of the event was Subedaar Major Honorary Captain R. L. Punia. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director, Principals (BGI, Pilani) and the chief guest. Later it was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. This solemn moment filled everyone present with a deep sense of pride and respect for the nation.
In his address, the Director highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution and emphasized the duties and responsibilities of citizens in building a strong and progressive nation. He also encouraged students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and discipline in their personal and professional lives.
The special for the program Subedaar Major Honorary Captain R. L. Punia delivered an inspiring speech and shared his life journey, struggles, and experiences during the different wars. His words deeply moved the audience and motivated students to value the sacrifices made for the nation.
Students presented a variety of cultural programs, including patriotic songs, group dances, and inspirational speeches that reflected the spirit of nationalism and sacrifice of freedom fighters. The performances were highly appreciated by the audience. Special performance was present by the social chapter NIRMAAN, BKBIET.
