BKBIET Pilani Sign MoU for Institutional Collaboration with CSIR-CEERI and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Vietnam
B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET), Pilani, is significantly expanding its academic and research horizons with two new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The institute has formalized partnerships with both the CSIR – Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI) in Pilani and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) in Vietnam.
The first MoU establishes a five-year collaboration with CSIR-CEERI, focusing on strengthening local academic and research ties. This partnership will facilitate the exchange of scientific staff and students, joint supervision of M.Tech, M.S., and Ph.D. students, and collaborative research programs. The agreement also includes sharing of laboratory facilities and the creation of virtual incubation and entrepreneurial programs to enhance students’ skills.
In a separate move to expand its global reach, BKBIET has also signed MoU with HCMUTE, Vietnam. This international partnership will provide students and faculty with opportunities for academic exchanges, internships, and collaborative learning initiatives. It also emphasizes joint research projects and promotes cultural exchange, which will enrich students’ global perspectives.
On the occasion of signing MOU with CSIR-CEERI, the Director of CSIR-CEERI stated, “This MoU will enable us to leverage our combined expertise and resources, fostering a culture of innovation and research that will have a lasting impact on the academic and technological landscape of the region.”
