About The Institute
B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani was founded by Shree Krishnarpan Charity Trust as its technical wing under the Chairmanship of Late Syt. Basant Kumar Birla in the year 2007. The institute is approved by AICTE & is affiliated to RTU, Kota/BTU, Bikaner for UG programs in CSE with 120 seats and ECE, EE, ME, AI, IT with 60 Seats. The institute has dedicated faculties, state of art laboratories, modern infrastructure, medical facility, playgrounds, amphitheater, library with book bank and fully air conditioned, computer center & furnished hostels for boys & girls. The campus provides first-rate environment to engineering students to pursue their academic, intellectual, moral and cultural skills.
Aim and Objective of The FDP
This Faculty Development Program aims to provide a comprehensive theoretical and practical experience on “Applications of Optimization Techniques in Science and Engineering” to the beginners. The Faculty Development Program will focus on theoretical aspects and provide practical experience to participants so that they become able to train faculty members in their respective institutions as well as to promote industry-institute collaborations by working on the industrial projects and solve the current research problems.
